My name's Michael Brameld. I'm 29 years old and I was raised in a little town called Hudson in North Carolina. After I graduated HS, I went to college half-heartedly for a year, then dropped out and cut meat at Food Lion and FairValue for 2 years or so. In 1999 I joined the Air Force as a computer programmer. After basic at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX and technical training at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS I was stationed at Gunter Annex, Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL. I worked on an Oracle database application used to assign positions throughout the Air Force while I was there. In 2000 I married a hometown-honey, Dawn Anderson and we got divorced in 2003. I landed an assignment to Belgium in 2004 to work for NATO at a little radar site in a little town called Glons. I worked on NATO-wide command and control software as a configuration manager. After an amazing 2 years I ended up with an assignment back to Lackland AFB to do some electronic warfare work. That's where I am now, and so far it's pretty good. I bought a house here in San Antonio and plan to stay here for at least 3 or 4 years with my one-eyed dog, Laci.
